AI Artists

Using graphic design software is becoming ever more important. Curious if one day machines will actually be able to do this for us. I was reading an interesting article about AI and whether it can replace us humans. The argument from the author was that artists can not be replaced by AI. Curious as to whether people agree with this statement.

I think it might be possible. Depending on what the desired outcome is. Anything with free thought involved is probably not possible. Free thought meaning a sort of independent creative thought process. Although this too may be able to get replicated by AI, if they are programmed to "problem solve" based on an inherent set of coded values or ethics. Like maybe they are programmed to execute a creative way of problem solving. Like freely using its coded "education" to "create" outcomes.

These thoughts are stemmed from the following article: https://qz.com/984749/your-art-degree-might-save-you-from-automation-ai-expert-kai-fu-lee-says/?utm_source=atlfb
